Refund and Returns Policy

At CB AutoTech, we sell automotive parts and accessories. This policy explains your return, withdrawal, and refund rights.

1. 14-Day Statutory Cooling-Off Right (Change of Mind)

If you are a consumer, you have the legal right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order, for any reason, including change of mind.

To exercise this right, you must notify us within those 14 days (email is acceptable). After notifying us, you must return the item within 14 days.

2. Return Conditions for Car Parts

To be eligible for a return, items must be:

  • Unused and uninstalled
  • In the same condition as received
  • Complete (including accessories, manuals, fittings, and original packaging)
  • Packed safely to prevent transport damage

3. Items That Cannot Be Returned

Returns may be refused (or reduced refunds may apply) for:

  • Parts that have been installed, used, modified, or damaged after delivery
  • Special-order or custom-made items (including custom-painted, custom-finished, or custom-configured parts)
  • Sealed products opened after delivery where return is not suitable for hygiene/safety reasons
  • Items missing essential components or original packaging that affects resale value

4. Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Parts

If you receive a faulty, damaged, or incorrect item, contact us as soon as possible with:

  • Order number
  • Description of the issue
  • Clear photos of the item and packaging

If confirmed, we will provide a suitable remedy (replacement, repair, or refund) according to applicable law.

5. How to Start a Return

Include:

  • Full name
  • Order number
  • Item(s) to return
  • Reason (optional for statutory withdrawal)

Do not return items before receiving return instructions.

6. Refunds

After we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of approval. Approved refunds are made to the original payment method.

For valid 14-day withdrawal returns:

  • We refund the product price
  • We also refund standard outbound delivery costs (if required by law)
  • Return shipping costs are paid by the customer unless the item is faulty/incorrect

Refund timing depends on payment provider processing times.

7. Order Cancellation Before Dispatch

If your order has not yet shipped, contact us immediately. If cancellation is possible before dispatch, we will issue a full refund.

8. Business Purchases

Statutory consumer withdrawal rights apply to consumer purchases. Business-to-business (B2B) orders may be subject to different terms.
